About Us

Hi, I’m Haleigh founder of Lit Fiction Co., book lover, girl mom, and candle enthusiast tucked away in Idaho. My candle journey started because of my husband’s obsession with candles, but it didn’t take long before I realized most store-bought ones were packed with things I didn’t want in my home: parabens, phthalates, artificial dyes, and chemicals that didn’t belong anywhere near a cozy reading nook. So, I decided to make my own clean, safe, and just as comforting.

Of course, I couldn’t stop there. The bookish twist came naturally, because if there’s anything I love as much as a crackling wood wick, it’s romantasy, fantasy, and dark romance worlds. What started as a little side project grew into a full-blown passion blending characters, stories, and scents until each candle feels like stepping right into a fictional world.

When I’m not pouring candles, you’ll usually find me momming, hiking, fishing, or embracing a good bed-rotting session (more often than I should admit). Life with ADHD means my brain never slows down, hopping between new ideas, hyperfixations, and the next scent I can’t wait to create.

Now, I get the absolute joy of working with both indie and popular authors to bring their worlds to life in a whole new way: through scent. Whether you’re lighting a candle for your cozy reading night or setting the perfect vibe for your latest book obsession, my hope is that every flicker feels like magic.
